Stateside Fusion Class

Savanna Claire teaches an advanced fusion combo to "Stateside" by Pink Pantheress in this short, fast-paced class with assistant Keaton Evans. Students learn a stepping wrap-drop opening with a slow four-count rise emphasizing hair or face, side-to-side claps with side-body bends traveling back, arm swings powered by hip-roll initiation, a traveling slide into a back coupé turn, and a sharp accent finale with a contraction, throw, and scuff. Savanna emphasizes using the body to drive the arms rather than forcing tension, breath and opposition on the rise, and clean accent placement throughout, breaking each section down with clear verbal cues before connecting everything with a counted mark, mark with music, and full-out music run.
